On February 6, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to 4709 Alamitos Circle in Moss Bluff in reference to an anonymous tip of a possible methamphetamine lab in a barn behind this residence.
Upon arrival, deputies entered the barn and discovered Jerry L. Anderson, 48, 811 Kristy Lane, Sulphur, and William H. Heller, IV, 25, 4709 Alamitos Circle, Moss Bluff, in the process of smoking methamphetamine.
During a voluntary search of the barn, deputies discovered several chemicals consistent with the creation or operation of a clandestine lab and also located an active meth lab inside the barn. During further search, deputies also located meth-amphetamines, marijuana, several types of narcotics, and drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Haz-Mat was called to dismantle and clean up the active meth labs.
Anderson and Heller were arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and both charged with creation/operation of a clandestine lab; possession of CDS II (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia. Heller was also charged with possession of CDS II (vyvance); possession of CDS III (vicodin); possession of marijuana; and possession of a firearm in presence of CDS.
Their bonds are pending. CPSO Cpl. Travis Mier was the arresting deputy.
