Contraband Days 2017 Schedule of Events — Free Admission
There's no shortage of controversy when it comes to Contraband Days. For years now, Contraband Days has been questioned and many people think its a mere shadow of its' former glory days back when they had the speed boats and Bathtub Races. Hey, I'm with them on the bathtub races. That event was a ton of fun.
Well, this year, you'll find a few minor changes at Contraband days. For one thing, while Contraband Days will be running two weeks as usual, this time around the first week will be an "entertainment" week and the second week will be carnival and rides only.
You can still enjoy the helicopter rides as well as the live sharks and, of course all the carnival rides.
There are a few rules about attending Contraband Days:
Be aware that there are certain items you cannot take into the festival:
• Ice Chests and/or beverage coolers
• Tents, Canopies or Awnings
• Pets of Any Kind
• Weapons of Any Kind
• Bicycles, Skates, Skateboards, Scooters, Roller Blades
• Private Golf Carts
• Glass Containers
• Alcoholic Beverages - *Alcoholic beverages will be sold
on festival grounds
