Every generation has its drug of choice, and it seems that for this one, it’s the internet.  More than 60% of people say they’re addicted to surfing the web.  Internet addiction affects more women than men, and unsurprisingly, is more prevalent among younger users (teens aged 13 to 17).  No wonder we’re all hooked- last year, the average American spent 35 hours a week or more online.  At least many people stick to one vice- smokers and drinkers are less likely to be addicted to the internet.  Good thing- alcohol and Facebook really don’t mix.
