Arts and Humanities Presents Gallery Promenade 2014

This is such a great event and it's coming up Friday, September 26,  in downtown Lake Charles.

I have attended Gallery Promenade for the past several years and, let me tell you, it's one of those events that transforms the downtown area. Ryan Street shuts down and becomes one big art gallery and it really is a great family event!

Gallery Promenade celebrates the art spaces all across the lake area from 5pm to 9pm. For one night only, galleries, museums, art studios and unconventional art spaces will open their doors to the public, free of charge, to celebrate their year-round efforts at promoting the best culture of the region. All locations typically offer free reception, with most offering a little something extra special. This year you can play Venue Bingo! Pick up a Gallery Promenade map at any participating location and if you visit the venues on the map’s bingo card, you get entered into a chance to win a great prize!
