Arrest Made in Mickey Shunick Case
Authorities have not released many details but there has been an arrest in the Mickey Shunick case!
6:15 p.m. UPDATE On the arrest.
UPDATE:
The suspect is Brandon Scott Lavergne , a registered sex offender from the Lawtell area.
LPD and Saint Landry Parish Sherriff Deputies are executing a search warrant of Brandon Scott Lavergne’s residence on the 100 block of Elaine Lane in the Swords area.
There is to be a news conference today at 1:00 p.m. to release more information regarding the case and the suspect.
