Coronavirus outbreak stressing you out? Don't smoke weed.

That's what the experts with the American Lung Association are saying to folks who are using marijuana to relax.

According to health experts, it increases your risk of experiencing complications from COVID-19.

Dr. Albert Rizzo, Chief Medical Officer for the American Lung Association, says that COVID-19 affects your breathing and so does smoking marijuana.

Additionally, he says using the drug causes inflammation, which is kind of like bronchitis. If you get COVID-19 on top of that, you could be in for a world of hurt.

The ALA says even occasional marijuana usage could cause issues and it could confuse doctors who are trying to diagnose you.
