Northwestern must hate to play the McNeese State Cowboys. The Pokes put together a 35 point first half last night and held on to beat the Demons for the 10th straight time.

McNeese took control of last week's game over Incarnate Word after three turnovers gave them the ball within the Cardinals twenty yard line. The Pokes went on to win in a route and that results in them jumping up in both polls.

The Cowboys jumped out to a big early lead when their defense handed them the ball on a short field three times in a row. The Tigers won an old fashioned smash mouth football game.

McNeese State won it's homecoming despite six turnovers and LSU routed Kentucky last night. Now we wait to see if the Saints can win for the hat trick.
