Carnegie Hall Cellist and Pianist Perform at McNeese [VIDEO]
Monday night will be a special night at the Shearman Fine Arts Center on the MSU campus. You'll enjoy a free recital that will grace the stage at Carnegie hall on May 9th.
Cellist Dennis Parker and Pianist Lina Morita will perform in the Ralph Squires recital Hall in a free performance open to guest and faculty on April 29th.
According to the university the performance will include “Ricordanza” by George Rochberg, “Sonata for Violin and Piano” by Claude Debussy, transcribed for cello and piano by Parker, “Uccello” by Scott Eggert, “Sonata for Cello and Piano” by Ivan Sokolov and “Sambatango de Concerto” by Walter Burle Marx.
The performance begins at 7:30.
