Rock Obit — Alan O’Day of “Undercover Angel” Fame

He only had one hit. It was in the Spring of 1977 when "Undercover Angel" launched Alan O'Day into his brief chart success.

Actually, even though he had only one hit of his own, he did write some substantial hits for other artists including The Righteous Brothers, Helen Reddy and Cher.

O'Day passed away in California at the age of 72.

Rock Band, ‘Break of Reality’, Plays ‘Game of Thrones’ Theme

Okay, so the headline might be a tad deceiving, but "Break of Reality' is a rock band, it's just that they play that rock with three cellos and a drum.

The group was formed at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. The band gave their first formal concert in a small classical venue at Eastman, where they received complaints for being too loud.
