The much anticipated debut of the NBA's 2019 #1 draft pick (and brand new New Orleans resident) Zion Williamson, is finally here. The 19 year old Pelicans forward is set to play in the January 22nd game against the San Antonio Spurs at the Smoothie King Center, and excitement couldn't be higher for his NBA debut.

Williamson suffered a knee injury last year that basically took him out of more than half of his rookie season with the Pelicans. He underwent surgery in October to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee, and has been recuperating ever since. Check out the press conference below this morning announcing the news.
