We Win The Ugly Cake Contest!

So my wife and I decided to try a different cake recipe for our daughters birthday.  Sometimes it is just best not to experiment.

I baked the cake Saturday evening and it seemed fine. It did take a little longer than most cakes to bake but I knew it would because it contained Jello mix and real strawberries. I left the cakes in the pans Sunday and headed to a friends to watch the Saints game. I get a text from my wife telling me to come home "with a sense of humor and an appetite for Strawberry Blob cake." You can tell by the picture that the description was accurate. The good news is that it was delicious!
