Waterway Clean Up Continues Despite Government Shutdown

There are lots of ways to protest the government shutdown. I have seen the meme count on facebook grow like never before because we while we may not agree on whose fault it is; we all can agree that it's wrong. This has got to be the best way to protest.

I have found that sometimes the best way to spur someone to action is to embarrass them. Here is a group of unpaid EPA workers going on with their job despite not being paid for it. They are doing it simply because it is the right thing to do. Take note Washington! They are doing it because it is what's best for America and not what's best for themselves. Got your ear yet Washington?

These un-paid EPA workers did all of this on their own time. They organized using personal cell phones and facebook, Then using privately owned equipment went and cleaned up a Georgia stream. THIS is the kind of people that make America great!
