Tomorrow is Groundhog Day, and in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania the celebration will take place early tomorrow morning to see what the ground hog affectionately known as Punxsutawney Phil will predict this year.

The event that takes place in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania is an elaborate one. The gentleman who put on this event are all dressed up in tuxedos and top hats, and it is a really regal and formal party.

I mean, this event is so big, Hollywood even did a movie about the day called Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray.

The event starts at 6:30am tomorrow morning (which is 5:30am our time) and takes place in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania at Gobbler's Knob, and you can watch it live. So what happens?

Punxsutawney Phil will leave his burrow at 7:25am tomorrow morning to check out the weather conditions, and we will see if he sees his shadow or not. Then, the rodent-turned-meteorologist will make his prediction for the remainder of winter.

The ceremony and all the events will be streamed on several platforms. You can watch it on Punxsutawney Phil's Facebook page and YouTube channel, which is funny for us because the groundhog has his own social media pages.

They will also be streaming the event live on www.goundhog.orgSo will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow? If he doesn't, we get six more weeks of winter but if he does, spring will come early. The problem is, do you even believe a groundhog can actually predict the weather? We shall see!
