Southwest Louisiana is quickly becoming the place to see great live music around town with the who's who of top-notch entertainment coming through the area. Such is the case when Travis Matte and the Kingpins hits the town in October.

Cajun music star Travis Matte and his band have been together for a long time. When Travis first hit the Louisiana music scene as an independent artist, the name of the band was Travis Matte and the Zydeco Kingpins.

The first song he released on the radio was called BBQ and Drink A Few. That song blew up and jump-started his career. Travis also has other big hits like Booty Call, Zydeco Train, and his biggest hit Vibrator.

All those songs exploded which gave Travis a huge following and no matter where he performed, he would sell out the venue. Travis is known as a high-powered performer and will keep you dancing and singing every time you see him.

Travis Matte and the Kingpins will be making their long-awaited return to Southwest Louisiana when he performs live at Kjun Boo's located at 2860 North Highway 171 in Moss Bluff. They are basically located on the corner of Highway 171 and Joe Miller Road.
