With both teams loosing two straight games ,,,,McNeese has probably lost it's way out of the playoffs and LSU is moving toward a lower tier bowl game.

According to USA Today LSU ranks seventh in the nation in athletic department earnings. LSU athletics are entirely self supported taking no state tax dollars and no student fees. It is one of only seven schools in the country to do that.

Texas A&M were set to welcome the McNeese Cowboys for their home opener on Aug. 30, but word broke Wednesday that the Aggies have broken that contract to play Louisiana Tech instead. The move has left McNeese scrambling to fill the hole in their schedule and could put the Cowboys facing off against a conference rival twice in the same season.
