The Lake Charles City Council convened on Wednesday to discuss the issue of worsening traffic in SWLA because the I-210 bridge project is scheduled to last 3-4 years.

This image is property of http://www.roadtrafficsigns.com Starting Monday, if you’re using the stretch of Interstate between the big Calcasieu River bridge and PPG Drive along I-10, things are going to start getting slower.  For the next six months, the state DOTD will be rebuilding that nasty stretch of highway.

For all you folks who use the I-10 Bridge Eastbound to commute to work be aware that one lane of the bridge will be closed Thursday and Friday.  Here is the latest on the construction and lane closure for the bridge.
