Looks like Jimmy Fallon will be taking Late Night TV's most coveted chair, that of the host of NBC's Tonight Show. An official announcement isn't expected until a replace for Fallon on "Late Night" can be found.
Leno has been under the gun ever since taking over for Johnny Carson back in 1992. With all due credit to Leno, those were some amazingly large shoes to fill in the first place. For many, Leno's version of The Tonight Show was a pale comparison to what Carson made the show.
The battle for late night TV can be brutal and Jimmy Kimmel says that Leno just doesn't have the goods anymore.
