I hate cancer. There are too many people at this very moment who are fighting and so many families who are hurting because of this awful disease.

Colors for a Cause was  founded in 2011 as a way to honor 10 year old Brennan Daigle from Westlake, Louisiana whose battle with cancer created an army of supporters worldwide. This organization helps families who's kids are fighting cancer and is planning a 5K on May 17th.

Life is all about new experiences. Tomorrow I do something I have never done before. Sure I have spoke in front of large groups; but I have never spoke about my fight with cancer. I will do that for the first time tomorrow.

It was about ten years ago. I was riding the Metro in Houston on my way to my daily radiation treatment at MD Anderson. I chose to take my treatments early in the morning so I would not have to dread them all day. I saw people hustling to work and though "I wish I was going to work today." I think about that when I get up and don't feel like going to work.

Reg Presley, lead singer of the British ’60s hitmakers the Troggs, has announced a retirement from music due to his being diagnosed with cancer.

Annette Charles, who played Sandy Olson’s dancing rival Cha Cha DiGregorio in the 1978 movie-musical ‘Grease,’ died Wednesday at her home in Los Angeles. She was 63. Charles, who was initially hospitalized for pneumonia, died from complications from cancer, her rep confirmed to TMZ.
