SWLA Mardi Gras Schedule
"Everybody here knows when everything happens for Mardi Gras," said a friend at last nights Super Bowl party, you don't need to write a post about it, everyone knows the schedule he assured me.
It was only a few minutes later a lady approached me while making eye-contact. I didn't know her and as she walked up I tried to look another way, then quickly back to see if she was still looking at me, yes... our eyes locked.
When she was a step away she grabbed me by the left ear, not the whole ear, just the little dangly part that the rest of you must follow when it is pulled on.
I bent over to where my stretchy left ear was within millimeters from her mouth as she begged: "will you please publish this week's Mardi Gras schedule around here? I don't want to miss out on any beads." Her hot gin-soaked breath struck a ticklish beat on my external auditory canal.
Glancing down at her ample cleavage heaving heavily next to the bar, I knew what I must do - print the Mardi Gras schedule so this poor woman won't miss a single possible moment of chasing down another deserved string of flying plastic beads.
