State Police Urging Truckers To Take I-20 Instead of I-10

Louisiana State Police are doing everything possible to keep travelers off  frozen roads. They are specifically trying to route traffic off a soon to be frozen I-10.

Traffic Advisory for Truck Drivers or those with plans to travel through Louisiana:

Due to the impending winter weather event along the I-10/12 corridor, it is strongly suggested utilizing I-20 to travel through Louisiana.

It would be a good idea to advise any traveler to heed this warning. Let's help the troopers and spread the word.
