The creators of "Sesame Street" are suing the producers of "The Happytime Murders", which is that new, totally R-RATED puppet movie starring Melissa McCarthy.

Sesame Workshop says the movie tarnishes its "trusted brand", especially the uncensored trailer that just came out, featuring the tagline, "No Sesame.  All Street."

The Lawsuit states:

[The] widely distributed marketing campaign features a just-released trailer with explicit, profane, drug using, misogynistic, violent, copulating and even ejaculating puppets . . .

Check this out, Jim Henson's production company worked on this movie and his son Brian Henson is the director.

The producers of "The Happytime Murders" say that they are confident in their legal position.
