CBS News is reporting that rent prices across the USA are rising faster than wages and jumped up 30.4% between 2019 and 2023, with even more inflation expected in 2024.

A website called Lawn Love recently did research on the rising rent prices in metro areas across America. They compared 196 of the biggest U.S. metros based on three categories. Lawn Love looked at average rent prices, year-over-year rent changes, and the share of renters spending over 30% of their income on rent and utilities, among 9 total metrics.
