Reeves High School Teacher Arrested On Sex Charges

Allen Parish Sheriff Deputies have arrested a teacher from Reeves High School, as she is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.

KPLC reports that Kristen Ward, 42, was arrested and charged with five counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, five counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count of obstruction of justice.

Ward is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old female student that happened over five different instances.

She is also facing a contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile charge in Calcasieu Parish.

The Allen Parish School Board has stated that Ward is on administrative leave, pending the criminal investigation.
