Eventually, everybody gets known for something.  Maybe it's being kind and opening doors for folks, maybe it's your wit and humor, or (if you're anything like Scotty Dale Pierce of of Franklinton, Louisiana) maybe it's for going to jail over a game of chicken and illegal possession of marijuana - but folks are going to remember you for something.

According to a report from BRProud,  43-year-old Scotty Dale Pierce was arrested earlier this week after a Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office observed the Franklinton "playing chicken with drivers on Highway 10."  Allegedly, Pierce was taunting drivers along the stretch of the road where he lived.

As the investigator approached, he reportedly noticed what could be a weapon protruding from Pierce's pocket.  Upon searching the suspect, it was determined that it wasn't a gun - it was allegedly lots of drugs.  Specifically, the WPSO claims that their investigator found marijuana and methamphetamines.

Pierce was arrested and booked into the Washington Parish Jail on the following charges:

  • Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor
  • Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor
  • Obstruction of Highway Simple
  • Possession of Schedule II Drugs
  • Possession of Marijuana-Simple

What's even more crazy is that this isn't the 43-year-old's first time to visit the crossbar motel.  According to the report, Pierce has landed in the hoosegow 7 times in the last 15 years including 4 times in 2014!  At this point, officials may consider naming a suite after him.
