Perry Confirms Aerosmith Tour

The news Aerosmith fans have been waiting for finally arrived late Monday – sort of. Guitarist Joe Perry confirmed that the band will tour in 2012, but offered precious few details, such as dates, cities, venues and opening acts. Perry simply tweeted, “AEROSMITH U.S. TOUR STARTS IN JUNE! tickets on sale in March. The start of the trek will be timed to coincide with frontman Steven Tyler wrapping up his role as judge on American Idol.
