Old Sulphur Casa Manana Has New Name and Owners

It will be named Maria's Cocina Mexicana. Located in the formed Casa Manana building in Sulphur at 106 South Cities Service Highway, it was announced on Facebook that the establishment would be opening in March according to Jose Alfredo Chavez.

If the menu looks familiar, you're not totally crazy. The owners of the new restaurant also own Pedros Tacos and Tequila Bar in Lafayette. They owners are remodeling the inside currently, according to the pictures provided, and are building hype by showing off their menu.

The pictures of the food from the Lafayete place do look promising, but only time will tell if it will carry over to the new place in Sulphur. Already, people are asking questions about menu options, the drinks offered, and times. If they follow along with what Pedros does in Lafayette, then their hours will be 11:00am - 10:00pm on weekdays, and open till 11:00pm Friday through Sunday.
