Richard Lewis Springthorpe was born in Sydney, Australia.  He started his musical career in a pop-rock band called Zoot in 1969 until he moved to the USA in 1972 to embark on his solo career.  He's also started in many television series like General Hospital, True Detective, Supernatural, American Horror Story, and many more.
