Night Ranger’s Jack Blades To Release New Solo Album
Following the success of last year’s new album and tour from Night Ranger, bassist and vocalist Jack Blades is set to release a brand new solo record. ‘Rock N Roll Ride,’ set to be released March 27 on the Frontiers label, will be Blades’ second ever solo release, following his 2004 self-titled disc.
The new batch of songs features a little help from fellow Night Ranger members Brad Gillis, Kelly Keagy, Joel Hoekstra and Eric Levy, as well as a special guest appearance by the one and only Robin Zander of Cheap Trick.
Blades, who in addition to his time with Night Ranger was also a member of Damn Yankees alongside Ted Nugent and Tommy Shaw of Styx, calls the new album “an extension of what my music has been for the last 30 years. It has been quite a rock n’ roll ride and I decided to lay it all down on a record!”
The album’s first single and leadoff track, ‘Back In The Game,’ will be released on an as-yet unannounced date prior to the release of ‘Rock N’ Roll Ride.’
