If you're looking for something to do this Christmas holiday weekend, then we got six movies you should check out at SWLA theaters.

J.J. Abrams returns to direct the final movie, and uses old footage he filmed of Carrie Fisher for "The Force Awakens" to insert her into "The Rise of Skywalker". That included scenes that now give Billie Lourd a chance to play opposite her mom again.

2.  "Cats"  (PG)

Judi Dench is the elder cat everyone is trying to impress to prove themselves worthy of being reborn into another life. The rest of the cast includes Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, James Corden, Ian McKellen, British ballerina Francesca Hayward, and singer Jason Derulo.

3.  "Bombshell" (R) 

Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, and Margot Robbie star as the ladies who took down CEO Roger Ailes in the sexual harassment scandal at Fox News. Nicole is Gretchen Carlson, Charlize is Megyn Kelly, and John Lithgow is Ailes. The cast also includes Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, and Allison Janney.

4.  "Spies in Disguise" (PG)

Opening Christmas Day, "Spies in Disguise" is an animated movie starring Will Smith as a legendary spy and Tom Holland as the tech nerd who teams up with him to save the world after accidentally turning Will into a pigeon.

5.  "Little Women" (PG)

Opening Christmas Day, "Little Women" is the latest adaptation of the classic Louisa May Alcott novel about the March sisters stars Saoirse Ronan as Jo, Emma Watson as her sister Meg, Eliza Scanlen as Beth and Florence Pugh as Amy. Laura Dern plays their mom, and Meryl Streep is their aunt.

6.  "The Grudge" (R)

Opening January 3rd, "The Grudge" is an (R) rated reboot starring Andrea Riseborough as a detective investigating a series of deaths connected to a house that's been cursed by the deaths of someone who died in a state of extreme rage.
