JoAnn's Fabrics and Crafts announced earlier this month that they would have to close around 500 stores around the country after filing bankruptcy and that they attended to keep 300 of their stores operational.

However, they were not able to find a buyer for the company, so in a new announcement the company now says it will have to close all their locations including 43 stores in Texas.

A company spokesperson said they tried every avenue possible to achieve a better outcome.

The retailer's assets have been purchased by Joann's lenders and the financial services firm GA Group. Starting right now, the new owners are holding going-out-of-business specials at all of the remaining store locations. Joann's website will also be hosting sales. The company's website and app will be used to announce store closing dates, and certain sales will start right away.
