My Top 5 Bakeries In Lake Charles For All Occasions

I am sure this may get various opinions when it comes to this post. However, I am solely basing this on my personal experience and opinion. Those who have been following me on my health journey may be a little taken aback as well. Trust and believe this is not something that I indulge in very often, especially not now. But when I want to treat myself a little, or possibly do something special for someone else, then these are truly some businesses that I would go to and even recommend for others.

Here are 5 locations in Lake Charles that I am willing to bet you'll be able to find something you like. Whether it's cookies for the office, Mardi Gras cakes for that time of the year, or specially decorated cakes for those special occasions. Nothin Bundt Cakes:

If you've got a sweet tooth or wanna do something special for someone then this is the spot to go to. I was doing a live broadcast from a nearby business when I first found out about this great establishment. There were more customers going into 'Nothing Bundt Cake', and I had to see what all of the fuss was about. Needless to say, I walked out with more treats than a few.

Sweets & Treats:

One of my previous Market Presidents brought some of the Tea Cake cookies to the office and it's been an addiction for many of us here since. This is a locally owned business with baked goods that has everyone hooked. If you love Chocolate cookies that are extra gooey or even White Chocolate cookies then this is your go-to place.

The Bekery, LLC:

This is another homegrown spot that has all of the goods and right now you can get the big King Cakes or small king cakes. But The Bakery is also known for delicious cookies, Crossaints, and Muffins, and right here in Lake Charles.

Pronia's Deli and Bakery:

If you don't want the same old basic recipe then Pronia's Deli and Bakery is it with a wide variety of flavors including Champagne, Yellow, Expresso Cream, and Red Velvet. They began serving Southwest Louisiana in 1989 and haven't looked back since. They also have some of the best sandwiches around town. They have what you want with no problems with getting it to you fast and on time.

Cypi's Cake Box:

Cypi's is truly not to be taken lightly when it comes to the desserts for all the right or wrong reasons. With Cypi's you'll have a variety of cakes, cookies, pralines and so much more. They are based here in Lake Charles and they have convenient hours for your sweet craving needs.
