How The McNeese Cowboys Are Preparing For The 2025 Season

(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - The McNeese Cowboys are gearing up for the 2025 football season. We got our first good look at the offense and defense in game like conditions this past Saturday.

The buzz around SWLA about the Cowboys is at a four year high, and many fans are hoping Coach V can bring back his winning ways to Navarre Stadium and return a once proud winning program to the lake area.

Going into the season, we have to remember as fans this is a brand new office for our players and transfers. It will take a few weeks before this team can be a well oiled machine. I fully expect the Pokes to be running on full cylinders by conference play.
