The Pokes will be traveling to Stephenville, Texas this weekend to kick off their season against a familiar foe. Last year the Texans bested the Cowboys at The Hole by 18 points.

The Cowboys Week Zero game is being played on ESPN2. This is huge for the program. A lot of eyes will be on this game around the nation, and obviously, a ton of possible recruits will be watching as well to see how the new look Cowboys perform.

The Pokes took to social media yesterday to show off a brand new all whiteout look for their game against the Texans. Here's how the traditional Cowboys away uniforms look like:

They have the traditional yellow pants and helmet with white jerseys. However, the new alternative away uniforms feature white pants, jerseys and a new white helmet.

I don't know why it took so long for the whiteout uniforms to come into our lives, but I'm here for it and loving it. Not only does it look clean, but new uniforms are a breath of fresh air for a program and fan base that desperately needed something to be excited about following a 0-10 season.
