McCartney Named Musicares Person Of The Year

Paul McCartney has been named 2012's  "Musicares Person of the Year". The legendary rocker and some yet-to-be announced friends will perform at a February 10 sold out benefit concert in his honor, with proceeds going to "Musicares", and organization that ensures that musicians have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.

Previous honorees include Billy Joel, Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, and Sting.
