Man Sells LSU Football Cleats Worn during Game and Ends up in Jail
There is a reason why you can not buy gear worn by college football players. It is a huge NCAA violation. The sale of some LSU gear has landed a student in jail.
Fletcher Sanders is a student entrepreneur. He made a few bucks selling some cleats and glove an LSU football player wore at this years game against Ole Miss. This type of thing is heavily frowned on. The Baton Rouge Police department got wind of Sander's sale. They ask him what student athlete he got the shoes and gloves from and he refused to rat out his friends. Baton Rouge police told Sanders if he did not tell them the students name he would be arrested. Sanders refused and was arrested on charges of principal to theft and possession of stolen things. Sanders said he would rather go to jail than ruin someone's career?
