Major Leaguer Attempts Bird Box Challenge in Batting Practice
Have you heard of the latest craze shocking social media right now? If you haven't let me quickly educate you, it's called the "Bird Box Challenge" where people are attempting to do everyday tasks while blindfolded.
You may be wondering, why in the world would anybody be doing this? Well, there's a new movie out on Netflix called "Bird Box" starring Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, John Malkovich, and more. In the movie the main characters are forced to wear blindfolds due to a mysterious force that crushes the world's population and if you can't see this mysterious force apparently you'll survive (I haven't actually watched the movie yet).
That craze has led to people seeing what kind of everyday tasks they can do while blindfolded. It got so crazy that last week Netflix took to Twitter to warn people to be careful if they chose to participate in the "Bird Box Challenge"
Nevertheless, one Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Justin Turner decided that he would try to hit baseball's while blindfolded, enjoy:
He started off struggling, as you would expect, but then once the guy who was tossing him the balls gave him a countdown he got into a little bit of a contact groove.
What would you want to try to accomplish while blindfolded?
