Lifeshare Blood Center Needs Our Help

Every year during the holidays, severe blood shortages occur and Lifeshare Blood Center really needs as many of us as possible to roll up our sleeves and give the gift of life. The folks at Lifeshare have estimated that they will need about 200 extra units of blood just to get through this holiday season and to help that happen, Lifeshare is holding it's annual Rockin' Round the Clock Blood Drive.

In order to help you have time to make a donation, Lifeshare Blood Center is expanding it's hours of operation. Here are the Rockin' Around the Clock Blood Drive Hours:

Tomorrow, Friday, Lifeshare will be open from 8a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday they will be open from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The folks at Lifeshare are also adding an element of fun to their blood drive as well with great food from area restaurants and door prizes as well.

It takes about 45 minutes to donate blood and with their expanded hours, it should be easy for more people to stop in, donate blood, enjoy some great food and maybe even win a prize for your generosity! Even if you don't win a prize, you'll still feel great because you've done a great thing for someone else during this holiday season.
