LCPD Searching for Belden Street Robbery Suspect

The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at about 6 a.m., at Smokers Heaven at 1028 Belden Street.

The suspect reportedly took money from the register after striking the clerk with a beer bottle. He's described as a "thin black male in a white sleeveless t-shirt and blue shorts. He was in a black SUV, possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by a tall, black male with a beard wearing a black t-shirt and tan pants", said a media release.
