The victim's name has not been revealed in this story, but she certainly has a lot of grit. The woman was getting into her vehicle early on the morning at the corner of Bilbo and Division when a man approached her and demanded her purse and told the woman to drive him to her bank ATM to withdraw money. The woman refused to surrender the purse and the suspect, Mark Lynn Cormier, 42, told her that he was armed and that he would shoot her. The victim again refused to comply and the suspect beat a hasty retreat from the scene.

Authorities caught up with Cormier and placed him under arrest on the scene. Cormier is now facing counts of attempted aggravated kidnapping and attempted first-degree robbery. Judge Clayton Davis set bond at $300,000.

Looks like somebody messed with the wrong woman.
