Lake Charles Transit System Under Survey to Improve Service
Lake Charles, La. - Do you use the Lake Charles Transit System? If so, expect improvements to come. A survey is being conducted "to evaluate the bus system in order to improve service," said a City of Lake Charles media release.
Anyone wanting to participate in the survey can stop by the Transit Division's Customer Service Center, at 1155 Ryan Street, or click here, where the survey will be open until October 16, 2017.
The information from the survey will help the improvement of "ridership, travel pattern, peak days time, individual bus stop usage," and any further information obtained from the survey that could make for a better transit experience.
“We want everyone to participate in this survey,” said Mayor Nic Hunter. “We know our system can be improved and expanded, but we need to know that support for expanding the system exists. Your participation will ensure that your voice is heard, so that we can make riding the bus a more pleasant and reliable experience.”
Call the Lake Charles Transit Division at 491.1253, for information regarding the survey, routes, and schedules.
