Lake Charles Man Charged With Negligent Homicide

A Lake Charles man is dead and a family member is facing charges of negligent homicide in connection with his death. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies say Erixon Aguilar-Cabieles has been arrested in connection with the death of  Didier Dario-Cabieles.

That arrest was made early Saturday morning after authorities were called to a home and found Didier Dario-Cabieles unresponsive.

The CPSO investigation found that Didier Dario-Cabieles was reportedly causing a disturbance at a gathering in a home on Highway 90 east of the city of Lake Charles. It is believed that Didier was intoxicated and that a family member, Erixon Aguilar-Cabieles bound his hands and feet and laid him face down in a bed.

When family members went to check on Didier early Saturday that is when they found him unresponsive and placed a 911 call. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

The Calcasieu Parish Coroner's office has not released the cause of death. Erixon Aguilar-Cabieles has been booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. His bond has yet to be set.
