Lake Charles, Louisiana: What Day Do Leap Year Babies Celebrate Their Birthday?
Unless you belong to the 0.07% of persons to whom this applies, you might not have given it much thought.
Leap Year babies will have to wait till next year for a proper birthday. So, what holiday is observed by those born on February 29th? Today, tomorrow, or possibly both?

Leap Yay babies, or "Leaplings," were asked on Reddit when do they celebrate their birthday on non-leap years.
Some prefer to celebrate tomorrow because a day early just feels weird, while others prefer today since it keeps the holiday in February. A few hardcore Leaplings only celebrate once every four years.
A few folks also mentioned that their parents honored their birthdays on March 1st and the 28th, which is lovely. Two fictitious birthdays seem like a reasonable compromise if you don't get a genuine one.
By the way, Facebook has struggled with this as well. They used to notify your pals that your birthday was "tomorrow" on the 28th, but they didn't send out any reminders on March 1.
It appears that they switched in recent years and are now simply pretending that the 28th is the 29th. Yet, we've also heard from users who say their default date is March 1.
Yet, from a legal perspective, today is the crucial day. Leap Day babies can legally enter bars at midnight on March 1st when they turn 21.
