Lake Charles Area Farmers Markets Are Plentiful!
National Farmers Market Week is August 6 through 12, and we are fortunate to have several in the Lake Charles area that offer delicious homegrown veggies and homemade goods year round.
They aren't open every day, so make a note on your calendar or in your phone to remind you when to stop in.
Each offers different items from the vendors, so make an effort to visit each of them from time to time to see what they have to offer. You may find handcrafted items or even live animals! And don't forget that the selection of fruits and goodies may change with the seasons.
