Mark your calendar now for The Lake Charles Symphony’s annual “Wild Beast Feast” on May 4, 2013 at Burton Memorial Coliseum.

Approximately 30 chef teams come together and create culinary concoctions. The teams include volunteers from area businesses and banks, local restaurants and caterers, or anyone who would like to prepare food for the event. Most of the food is cooked on-site, since a big part of the excitement is to watch the cooks in action. Just as much fun is the camaraderie and competition among the chef teams! Prizes are given for both the judges’ favorite and the peoples’ choice award for fried, grilled, and steamed dishes from land, from seed, or from sea, and the award for best pie.

Each participating cooking team will provide at least three hundred prepared small tastings and a serving tray/chafer. We will provide skirted tables, eating utensils, napkins and a sign with each cooking team’s name.

This is the perfect opportunity to promote and market your restaurant, business or festival. If you wish, feel free to advertise at your table by including flyers, menus, business cards and decorations.

You can download the participation form below, and we ask that you complete and return by mail, e-mail or fax by April 9th. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at (337) 433-1611 or send an email to info@lcsymphony.org.

In years past over three hundred people attend the event. Enclosed is a FAQ sheet that describes the event in more detail. Beast Feast is the Symphony’s most important fundraiser, and we hope you will join us to make this year’s event a success. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon.
