Jarvis Jacob Takes Center Stage At Live At The Lakefront This Friday Night

I love a good time and there is no better time than a party on the Lakefront. One of my favorite entertainers will be Live At The Lakefront as the party continues this Friday night. This will be the second week in one of the most anticipated events of the year.

The event is always free and will be outside with fun for the entire family to come out and take part in the festivities. It is put on every year by the Arts and Humanities Council of SWLA with all of the beverage sales benefiting them and their endeavors to the Lake Charles community. The event will be this Friday, March 18 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the St. Louis Catholic High School Show Choir, followed by Swampland String Band at 6 p.m., Red Dirt Revue at 7:30 p.m., and Jarvis Jacob and The Gents will kick off their set at 9 p.m.

If you have never had a chance to witness greatness on stage, then tonight is the night to make that happen. I have known Jarvis for years and I have truly seen him from the beginning until now. He does a great job on covers of other artists' music, but he has his own catalog that many of you may not be familiar with.

While the event focuses on some of the talented artists from the area. There will be plenty of great food and various vendors for you to patronize during the event and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
