Louisiana FedEx Driver Seen Kicking $30K Worth of Packages
BATON ROUGE, La. - A Baton Rouge, Louisiana business owner is demanding accountability and answers after surveillance footage captured a FedEx delivery driver mishandling packages containing tens of thousands of dollars worth of specialized audio and video equipment.
According to reports, the packages were valued at approximately $25,000 to $30,000.
Surveillance Video Raises Questions About Package Handling
Jeremy Rasti, owner of Crescendo AAV in Baton Rouge, says he was stunned when he reviewed security camera footage from a recent delivery.

The video reportedly shows a FedEx driver tossing packages onto the ground before walking away. Moments later, the driver returns to kick and throw another package toward a steel gate. The footage was recorded on May 26 and has since generated widespread attention online.
Louisiana Business Concerned About Potential Damage
Rasti tells WAFB he has been waiting months for the equipment to be delivered, and says the value of the mishandled items is between $20,000 and $30,000. He goes on to say "Regardless of if this is actually damaged or not, there’s no way I’m putting this in one of my client’s houses."
For companies that install high-end technology in customers' homes, uncertainty about a product's condition can become a major liability. Equipment may look fine on the outside but still suffer internal damage during rough handling.
That's why Rasti says he isn't comfortable using the equipment until he has confidence it wasn't compromised during delivery.

Frustration Grows Over Response To Complaint
According to Rasti, he contacted FedEx after discovering the footage and submitted the video as part of a formal complaint.
He says a case was opened but later closed without what he considered a satisfactory explanation or resolution. The lack of communication only added to his frustration.
Rasti also says that he did not recognize the driver shown in the video and believes the individual was not the usual driver assigned to his route.
FedEx Responds After Video Surfaces
Eventually, FedEx issued a statement addressing the video. The company said the actions shown in the footage do not meet its service standards and described the behavior as unacceptable. FedEx also confirmed that the individual seen in the video is no longer working for them and that representatives are working directly with the customer to resolve the matter.
For now, Rasti says he simply wants accountability and a solution that addresses the concerns raised by the footage.
