Beachgoer Notices Bizarre Structure Floating in The Gulf of Mexico

This would certainly catch your attention if you were out on the beach.

A beachgoer near Panama City Beach saw this large structure "floating" in the Gulf of Mexico and she was asking others what it may be.

According to her post on social media, Renae Baynes noticed this structure on the horizon and it left her asking, What is this.?"

Look, if you've ever been on the beach relaxing, chances are you've noticed things in the distance too, and like Renae you may been left asking, "What is that?"

Some who saw the photo that you see above speculated that it could have been part of a house, a floating billboard, and other structures. Well, they were all wrong.

It turns out that after posting this photo in a social media group, someone knew what the structure was in the gulf.

According to some who responded under this photo, it is part of a floating drydock that was headed to Tampa Bay.

A boat captain, Brandon Kennamore, saw this original photo and he says he spoke to those towing the structure and that's how he found out what it is.
