There's nothing better than letting your creative juices flow and painting on a beautiful summer day! Sounds like fun. Round up the family and come to the park ready to create your masterpiece. You're invited to attend 'Art In The Park!'

Artists currently residing at the Imperial Calcasieu Museum will provide the art instructions. This event is free, so you don't have to worry about bringing chairs or supplies. They got that covered too! The City of Lake Charles is providing art supplies and easels. Just come out and join us:

Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to noon at Cpl. Donald Ray Stevens Community Center (Goosport Park) on 1619 Cessford St.

A fun-filled local art series that began in 2020, 'Art In The Park' was a way to get people of all ages out of the house during the pandemic. By providing an outdoor artistic outlet for residents to enjoy and stimulate the senses. Brought to you by the City of Lake Charles as part of the Partners in Parks Initiative, in conjunction with the Imperial Calcasieu Museum Residency at the Museum Program.”
