Well, it looks like Louisiana could soon be getting another Whataburger! It appears that the new location of Whataburger will be somewhere that has never had one before...

A few years back, you would have to drive to Orange, Texas, or Lafayette if you lived in Southwest Louisiana and wanted the famous burger chain. Recently, the GVCS group has opened a few Louisiana locations of the franchise. There are now locations in Leesville, DeRidder, Sulphur, and a location is expected to come soon in Lake Charles.

Burgers are the specialty of Whataburger, an American regional fast food restaurant business with its headquarters located in San Antonio, Texas. In 1950, Harmon Dobson and Paul Burton founded the company, which had its original location in Corpus Christi, Texas. Up until 2019, the Dobson family owned the chain, which is currently run by a private equity firm, however, the family still owns a minor portion of it.

The Whataburger, Whataburger Jr., Triple Meat Whataburger, and Bacon & Cheese Whataburger are among the company's burger varieties. There are also non-beef variants like the Whatachick'n. In the morning, eggs, bacon, pork sausage, and biscuits are offered for breakfast. My personal favorite is the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.

Well, it looks like another location in Southwest Louisiana could be getting a Whataburger location in 2024.

Yesterday we were scrolling through social media when a post from Discover Eunice came up and it was talking about Whataburger... See for yourself. Here is the post.

So looks like Eunice, Louisiana is the next destination for the popular Texas burger joint.
