Rabbit Festival Is Next Weekend, March 15-16 In Lake Charles
It's time again for the Iowa Rabbit Festival here in Lake Charles. The two-day festival features great food, a carnival, RV spots, a cook-off, and live music. It all takes place at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles.
The Iowa Rabbit Festival used to be held at Iowa City Park in Iowa, Louisiana but with Southwest Louisiana weather, you never know how Mother Nature will treat you so it is now inside the Burton Coliseum. That way rain or shine, we can have a great time.
The 2024 festival gets underway Friday evening, March 15th, 2024 with a great lineup of live music. Then on Saturday morning get ready for the rabbit festival cook-off which takes place in the barn behind the Burton.
Tons of teams get together to cook an appetizer and mianm dish rabbit meal for the judges., You can go hear live music, eat food, and also vote on the people's choice awards. To put your team into the cook-off, just click here for all the information.
